At HS Research, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and editorial quality. To ensure a seamless and ethical publishing process, we have established comprehensive guidelines for authors submitting manuscripts to any of our journals. These guidelines are designed to uphold international best practices in scholarly publishing and to assist authors in preparing their work for successful peer-reviewed publication.
1. Scope and Manuscript Types
We welcome original research articles, review papers, short communications, case studies, and theoretical or methodological contributions across a wide range of disciplines, including science, technology, engineering, medicine, social sciences, humanities, and interdisciplinary fields. Authors must ensure that their submission falls within the scope of the respective journal under HS Research.
2. Manuscript Preparation
All submissions must be prepared in English and structured clearly. The typical format includes:
- Title Page (title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author email)
- Abstract (150–250 words, summarizing purpose, methods, results, and conclusions)
- Keywords (3–6 relevant keywords)
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- References (in the prescribed citation style of the journal) Figures and tables should be embedded in the manuscript or submitted as separate highresolution files, with appropriate captions.
3. Formatting and Style
- Use standard fonts (e.g., Times New Roman, 12 pt), double-spaced, with 1-inch margins.
- All citations and references must follow the specific style required by the journal (APA style).
- Ensure consistency in formatting, headings, and units of measurement (SI units preferred).
4. Originality and Plagiarism Policy
HS Research only accepts original, unpublished work. Manuscripts must not be under consideration elsewhere. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or data fabrication may result in immediate rejection and further investigation under COPE guidelines.
5. Authorship and Contributions
All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the research and approve the final version of the manuscript. Any changes in authorship after submission must be justified and approved by the editorial board.
6. Ethical Compliance
For studies involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data, authors must provide:
- Ethical approval from the appropriate institutional review board (IRB)
- Informed consent statements (for human subjects)
- Compliance with ethical standards relevant to their field
7. Conflict of Interest and Funding Disclosure
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest or financial support related to the research. Transparency in funding sources enhances the credibility and trustworthiness of the published work.
8. Peer Review Process
All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review. Authors must anonymize submissions to preserve reviewer impartiality. The editorial team reserves the right to accept, request revisions, or reject any manuscript based on the reviewers’ and editors’ evaluations.
9. Open Access and Licensing
HS Research supports both open access and subscription-based publishing. Authors can choose the appropriate model and may be required to pay an article processing charge (APC) for open access. Licensing terms (such as Creative Commons) will be clearly stated.
10. Submission and Contact
Manuscripts must be submitted through our official online submission system. Authors will receive confirmation of receipt and status updates throughout the review and publication process. For queries or assistance, authors may contact the editorial office at: editor@hsresearch.org
